What is 252425 HOMELAB?

A private lab network where I test hardware and run services. It is a playground for new technologies.

Why is it called 252425?

The number combines the years 2024 and 2025 and works as recognizable branding.

Can I rebuild your setup?

Yes. I share hardware lists and tutorials, but power usage, noise, and space requirements differ for every setup.

How can I access the different services?

The links to all services are available on the home page. Some services are public, others require access.

What is the goal of your HOMELAB?

Mainly experimenting with new technologies, expanding my knowledge, and sharing experience with the community.

Which servers and hardware do you currently use?

  • iMac (AI): Apple M1, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage
  • Raspberry Pi 5 (252425 Cloud): 4 GB RAM, 2 TB storage

Why different hardware (PC, iMac, Raspberry Pi)?

Different tasks need different hardware, from low-power systems to more powerful machines. The Raspberry Pi 5 runs 252425 Cloud, the iMac handles efficient AI workloads, and the PC handles heavier AI tasks.

What does your network look like?

The network is based on a fiber backbone and secured through VPN and Zero Trust. Cloudflare Tunnel enables secure remote access, while Tailscale handles VPN connections.
